Rearview Review - the summer that wasn't

With the summer being in the rearview and everything that has happened over the course of it, there's a lot to take from this, a summer of disappointment.

One of those things was a desire to get going. Started with a phone conversation with my boss at BJs one morning. I told him I was done. That was it. No more carts, no more late nights pushing carts in cold, in rain, and watching the role change from "cashier" to "carts guy who also works as a cashier", feeling as if I made a mistake from the jump by going back. It wasn't dramatic either, it was a simple ending. From there the initiative was simple enough: get a better, career-centric job and finally start to make tracks out of where I was at this stage.

It looked good for a few weeks, then of course, trouble started. Couldn't find that job or something that was going to set my career forward. And then, the real trouble started....
